TalkTalk Broadband

TalkTalk Broadband is provided by TalkTalk Telecom Group plc and was originally founded in 2003 as a subsidiary of Carphone Warehouse but was demerged in 2010 to operate as an independent company.

In 2005 Carphone Warehouse acquired the UK ISP business of AOL, renaming it AOL Broadband and in 2009 it acquired the UK subsidiary of Tiscali, which was merged into TalkTalk ahead of its separation from Carphone Warehouse.

Another quadruple play provider, TalkTalk offers mobile and fixed telephony services together with broadband and digital TV. Like some other UK broadband providers, TalkTalk has invested in putting its own technology into local telephone exchanges.

TalkTalk offers standard Fast Broadband, Faster Fibre Broadband and Faster Fibre Speed Boost. TalkTalk provide an estimated download speed for your property when you enter your postcode as part of their sign up process. All TalkTalk packages offer free setup and have unlimited bandwidth. TalkTalk also provide their super router, with the latest WiFi technology and HomeSafe a package to keep you safe from suspicious websites as standard to all customers.

TalkTalk offer a choice of different contracts lengths; 12, 18 and 24 months.
